Coffee with a purpose at Medina’s newest independent shop

Medina is blessed with three independent coffee shops on or near Medina Square. First, the O.G., Cool Beans, which offers much more than coffee, including delicious lunch options and great baked goods. I had one of the best wraps from there just the other day. Then there is The Grind, which boasts my favorite latte art and amazing crepes, both savory and sweet. You need to try one. Just down the road, inside Keller Market, is Keller Cafe Bistro, featuring outstanding coffee drinks, wonderful breakfast and lunch options, brownies as big as your head and fresh-baked-from-scratch treats like the famous Morning Glory Muffin I had this week, fresh out of the oven.

All three of these coffee shops fulfill one of the most important missions of a great coffee shop: being a community gathering place.

Now, there is a new independent coffee shop in town, just a blink past the Medina Airport on state Route 18, on the left side of the road. You might not notice it from the road, but once you pull into the large, freshly paved and striped parking lot of the new LifeStone Ministries building, you’ll find it nestled into the far corner…
