The following Grand Island response activity occurred Saturday, Aug. 29, to Friday, Sept. 4, according to the Erie County Sheriff’s Office. ECSO deputies responded to 2,350 complaints among its county districts of 15 municipalities, including Grand Island, for the week of this report. This included 421 premises checks, 52 neighborhood patrols, 226 vehicle/traffic stops, 236 calls to assist other agencies, and 21 arrest warrants served. In addition, on the evening of Sept. 2, ECSO patrols responded to multiple road obstruction calls across the Erie County region due to the weather.
