MAYFIELD, Ohio — Kingston Murchison didn’t have to punt until the second quarter. When he did, Aurora found itself in a bind between setting up for its return or accounting for Murchison.
Mayfield’s three-sport star, who happens to run track, took off on his second punt. Instead of booting the football, he ran 42 yards for a first down and set up of the Wildcats’ third touchdown in their first four possessions. They went on to a 40-0 win Thursday night against the Greenmen.
“We wanted to send out that we’re the big dogs,” Murchison said. “We came out and got a pep talk by all of our coaches.”…
