Every year since September 11, 2001, families around the world have paused to honor loved ones who were killed on that day in the deadliest attack on American soil.
Among those who will never forget are John Menchaca and his wife Denise, a San Gabriel city councilmember and former mayor. John’s sister, Dr. Dora Menchaca, was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 77 when hijackers flew the plane into the Pentagon that morning.
