SPRINGFIELD, OR — Springfield police say a missing man with dementia has been found after officers asked the public to help locate him. Donald Eugene Davidson, who was reported missing Monday night, was later found, according to the Springfield Police Department.
The department said Davidson had last been seen in the area of the 600 block of Cloverleaf Loop. Police had described him as missing and endangered because of his dementia and said he was traveling on foot.

According to Springfield police, Davidson was reported missing on Sept. 8, 2026, at 9:55 p.m. Officers said he was born April 9, 1960, and that his condition made the case urgent.
