EUGENE, Ore. — A 54-year-old man was rescued over the weekend after falling in a remote rocky area in Upper McKenzie at approximately 4,000 feet elevation, the Eugene Police Department said.
At 1 p.m. September 5, a retired Eugene Police lieutenant called the Central Lane Communications Center to report the fall.
