Man pleads no contest to voluntary manslaughter in 2020 shooting at Union Ave. hotel

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — A man accepted a plea deal Thursday in a fatal shooting that took place at a hotel on Union Avenue six years ago.

David Bobo Thomas, 42, pleaded no contest to voluntary manslaughter, according to court records. The remaining charges, including murder and assault with a gun, were dismissed.
