Toddler struck and killed on Rivers Avenue identified; North Charleston woman charged

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston County Coroner’s Office on Friday identified a 2-year-old who was struck and killed on Rivers Avenue earlier this week.

Coroner Bobbi Jo O’Neal said the toddler, who was from Venezuela, died the night of Sept. 8 after being struck by a vehicle in what police called a hit-and-run crash.
