Fire at north Charlotte home under renovation deemed arson, officials say

CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Firefighters faced intense conditions early Friday morning while battling a house fire in north Charlotte that was determined to be intentionally set.

The call came in at 4:28 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, in the 1400 block of LaSalle Street. Crews arrived to find the single-family home, which was under renovation, heavily involved in flames.
