CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A 73-year-old man has died following a motorcycle crash just outside of uptown Charlotte, according to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police.
Officers responded around 8 p.m. on Aug. 26 to an accident at the intersection of Hawthorne Lane and East 5th Street.
When officers arrived, they found a damaged Harley-Davidson motorcycle and the driver, identified as Danny Simmons, nearby with life-threatening injuries…
