Congratulations to David Segarra III of Byrnes High School for being named this week’s Arby’s Scholar Athlete. David has excelled academically with an impressive 4.937 GPA and has earned recognition as a Junior Marshall, Palmetto Fellows eligible student, and recipient of the Freshman Highest Team Average award. He has also committed to continue his academic and athletic career at LSU.
A standout athlete, David has earned All-Region, All-State, and Region Player of the Year honors in soccer. His accomplishments also include All-American recognition in club soccer and qualifying for the state wrestling tournament.
Beyond academics and athletics, David volunteers as a mentor at Beech Springs Middle School and works as a counselor at Jump Start, helping make a positive impact on younger students…
