CONWAY — Jane Martin didn’t try to hide her emotion as she sat on a brick wall at Conway’s terrace with family by her side.
“It’s a shame that people have forgotten, but they have,” said Martin, who now lives in Conway. “But my grandchildren? They won’t, as long as I’m alive.”
Despite temperatures already touching 80 degrees, Martin wore a fleece emblazoned with the 83rd NYPD precinct on the sleeve, a tribute to where she worked as a police officer on Sept. 11, 2001…
