PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla (CBS12) — A local animal welfare organization is offering a $5,000 reward as investigators work to identify a person suspected of shooting cats near the Sunshine Flea Market in Palm Beach County.
Furry Friends Humane is partnering with Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control and the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office Animal Crimes Unit in the investigation.
Investigators say Animal Care and Control was notified last month after a cat was found dead from a suspected gunshot wound near the flea market on South Military Trail. A community member also provided video that appeared to show a suspect shooting at cats in the area…
