Woman’s Body Found Near Greenacres Intersection, PBSO Opens Death Probe

A man called 911 shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday to report a body near the intersection of 57th Avenue and 10th Avenue North in Greenacres. Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived to find an adult woman, identified in preliminary reports only as F.V., already dead at the scene.

PBSO detectives have opened a death investigation into her passing, according to The Boca Raton Tribune. Investigative division detectives responded to the scene to secure the perimeter and examine the surrounding area for forensic evidence, a standard step in this kind of case. The Palm Beach County Medical Examiner’s Office was requested to take custody of the body and perform an autopsy, which will determine the official cause and manner of death.

Authorities say the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death remain undetermined, per preliminary reports on the case. Investigators say they will release further details as additional findings are gathered, and the death investigation remains active and ongoing.
