A southwest Louisiana energy company with an corporate headquarters in Lafayette is expanding its operations with a $1.6 billion investment.
Black Bayou Energy Hub, an underground salt dome energy storage company in Calcasieu and Cameron parishes, announced the moves that will expand its headquarters and develop “critical natural gas infrastructure” in Cameron Parish, according to an announcement from the Louisiana Economic Development office.
