Sedalia man sentenced for role in 2025 shooting in downtown Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mo – A Sedalia man involved in a 2025 shooting in downtown Springfield has been sentenced in federal court.

U.S. District Judge Megan Blair Benton handed 25-year-old Kenkori Lenell Grant Jr. an eight-year sentence in federal prison today for illegally possessing a stolen semi-automatic pistol during the incident.
