NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was charged with multiple offenses, including identity theft, after Nashville authorities took him into custody Thursday night.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, 35-year-old Dandre Riley was named in eight outstanding warrants when TITANS Unit detectives arrested him on Sylvan Street on Thursday, Sept. 10.
Officials said the convicted felon had a key fob to a Nissan parked nearby, inside which investigators found a handgun, along with several stolen credit cards, drivers’ licenses, and fake temporary license plates.
In addition, detectives reportedly discovered a debit card and a driver’s license that was reported stolen at the start of September following a vehicle burglary in a parking garage on 2nd Avenue North. Law enforcement said Riley was “already identified as the suspect who proceeded to use that stolen card at multiple East Nashville businesses immediately after the burglary.”…
