ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – The leader of St. Louis County continues to warn the public that if property taxes are not raised for 2027, police officers are likely on the chopping block.
This comes just weeks before a decision would need to be made to raise property tax rates in the county, as officials wrestle with a budget deficit north of $60 million.
