After 31 years, Fort Collins says goodbye to Los Tarascos

After 31 years serving Fort Collins, Los Tarascos will close its doors Sept. 23, ending a decades-long run for one of the city’s best-known family-owned Mexican restaurants.

The restaurant, at 622 S. College Ave., announced the closure in a Sept. 9 social media post, describing the decision as “bittersweet” and saying the family members who founded and operated the business are retiring.

The farewell message looked back on more than three decades of serving the community, recalling the friendships, opportunities and memories created along the way. It also thanked customers for making the restaurant part of their lives…
