CHARLESTON COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – 30 Charleston County School District students have been named semifinalists in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.
The National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) announced the names of more than 16,000 semifinalists nationwide on Sept. 9. These students will now continue competing for approximately 6,930 National Merit Scholarships to be awarded in 2027.
