MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – The Myrtle Beach Community Hub and Resource Center partnered with Fresh Brewed Coffee House to host a rally for affordable housing at Chapin Park Saturday.
Ashlee Gayhart, founder of the Myrtle Beach Community Hub, said the rally was held in support of unhoused community members.
“So, we put on this rally today in support of our unhoused community members,” Gayhart said. “Miss Kate from Fresh Brewed asked us if we could do something for this community because it has been far too long neglected by the city and by business owners that think it is a nuisance for homeless people to be homeless, god forbid.”
