First Chick-fil-A in N.J. city to hire up to 80 employees ahead of fall opening

Newark will get its first Chick-fil-A restaurant this fall, and the location at 2 Clay St. is now accepting applications for 60 to 80 full- and part-time positions.

Brian Madalion, who will own and operate Chick-fil-A Lower Broadway, said the restaurant aims to become a community hub while supporting employee development.

“Giving back to the community is something that I’ve always been passionate about, and I’m eager to watch this restaurant transform into a gathering place for the people of Newark,” Madalion said. “I want Chick-fil-A to be a cornerstone for the community, where guests feel cared for and team members feel equipped to grow in their professional journey.”…
