Clemson vs. Georgia Southern injury report: RT Collin Sadler is trending up after Week 1 absence

After last week’s drubbing at LSU, the Clemson Tigers have both good and bad updates in the injury department. While it should be getting back right tackle Collin Sadler this week after he missed the season opener versus the Bayou Bengals, defensive tackle Markus Strong’s first year with the Tigers has ended after only one game. There is also a chance that Vic Burley could be returning here soon.

While football is a game of injuries, the bulk of Clemson’s concerns lie on both sides of the trenches. As the offensive line gets healthier by the day, the defensive line is a different story. Strong being out for the season puts even more pressure on Amare Adams, Andy Burburija, and Champ Thompson along the Clemson defensive line before Dabo Swinney will allow Burley to return to the program.

It was revealed earlier this week that it was some kind of “fluke” injury in the weight room, or that is how Swinney would describe it. He should be good to go in Week 2 now…
