FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — Freeport High School is celebrating a major landmark this week as its building turns 100 years old. Alumni, community members, families and staff gathered on the Moseley Street lawn to commemorate the centennial milestone.
The celebration provided visitors with opportunities to take guided tours of the high school and view displays reflecting what the building once looked like in past decades. The event on the lawn also featured live music, games and food trucks for community members.
