Race organizers are facing backlash after runners were left wading through waist-high floodwater during a half marathon Sunday morning, Sept. 13, through Saddle River County Park in Bergen County.
Floodwaters overtook portions of the Racefaster Half Marathon course along the bridges in the Paramus and Fair Lawn area as torrential downpours battered the region.
