Garage explosion sparks 2-alarm house fire in Harrisburg, officials said

CABBARUS COUNTY, N.C. (WBTV) – A garage explosion sparked a two-alarm house fire Saturday night in Harrisburg that drew crews from multiple counties, officials said.

Firefighters were called at 6:53 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, to a home at Sanger Court, said Harrisburg Fire Marshal Jeff Williams.

Family members were inside the home when the fire erupted, but all escaped safely and no injuries or deaths were reported, Williams said…
