On the morning of May 5, 2007, a farmhand in Delaware County, Ohio, placed a call to 911 after he showed up to work and his boss, Eveline Ashbaugh, was nowhere to be found.
Deputies with the Delaware County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to Eveline’s farm to search for her. What they found was a crime scene: 60-year-old Eveline had been stabbed to death in her bedroom.
