A 39-year-old horse lover and Penn National Race Course worker has died following a head-on crash, Pennsylvania State Police announced on Sunday, Sept. 13.
Melissa J. Risser, of Grantville, previously of Lebanon County, died at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center after the crash at Mountain and Firehouse roads in East Hanover Township, Dauphin County, on Sunday, Sept. 6, according to police and her obituary.
Risser was driving west on Mountain Road around 1:55 p.m. when her 2006 Toyota Scion crossed into the eastbound lane and struck a 2014 Ram 3500 head-on, police said…
