After several consecutive days of consistent low level airflow from the south, our area sits in a soup of moisture. This pattern continues today, yielding a heat index pushing 100 degrees at times.
Instability remains fairly low despite favorable humidity for storms, so the best chance for showers/storms will be along the sea breeze near the coast this afternoon.
