A Flash Flood Warning is in effect for west-central Mercer County until 8:30 p.m.
A line of showers and storms will develop ahead of a cold front moving through tonight.
Storms move in late this afternoon and through the evening. Storms could become severe and produce damaging winds, hail and heavy rainfall. Make sure to stay weather-aware and have a way to get alerts.
After heavy rainfall from Saturday, flooding will be a concern this evening. It won’t take much rain to cause high water issues and flooding. Watch low-lying areas, creeks and streams, and if you see rising water, get to higher ground. Never drive through flooded roadways.
Cooler, more comfortable air returns for the start of the work week. We’ll see sun and clouds Monday with dry conditions. Highs will be around 70 degrees.
It will still be dry Tuesday with warmer marks in the 80s and higher humidity by the afternoon. We’ll have a very warm and humid Wednesday with the next chance for showers and storms, but a better chance is expected Thursday…
