The Allegheny County Department of Human Services has introduced a new initiative aimed at restructuring the county’s drug and alcohol treatment system.
Announced at a community event Wednesday at Point Park University, the Allegheny Recovery Partnership Plan will shift the focus of substance use disorder treatment from episodic crisis care to long-term outpatient management.
