A suspect died by suicide Saturday night after an Elk Grove police officer fired at him during a chase near Bradshaw and Waterman roads, according to the Elk Grove Police Department.
Police said officers were initially called to the 8600 block of Bradshaw Road after receiving a report of someone setting fires at a property.
