A frightened 5-week-old kitten found stranded on a busy Florida interstate got more than a rescue after a Hillsborough County sheriff’s deputy chased him to safety. The tiny kitten ended up with a new name, a new home and a family of his own.
The rescue unfolded on I-275 on Sept. 8 after good Samaritan Donna Watson called for help when she spotted the kitten in distress.
