AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) —The City of Amarillo announced a Repair Cafe event for Sept. 19. The free event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Warford Activity Center.
Residents can bring in a broken appliance, a torn sweater, or a bicycle that needs repair. It also offers residents a chance to build community while helping repair broken items. Participants can also learn simple repair skills to fix items themselves in the future.
