JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson City Councilman Kenneth Stokes says he is fed up with the spike in violence, emphasizing that it will take a collective effort from everyone to restore peace in Jackson.
With the recent surge in crime throughout the city, Stokes says it is time to take action.
“It’s important that we cannot be too hot, nor too cold as we lose people in this city to gun violence or any kind of violence,” Stokes said. “We must protest against violence in any walk of life and at every level.”
