ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Nearly a decade after a fire reduced a Rockford home to ashes, the killings of a young mother and her three children remain one of the city’s most devastating and haunting murder cases.
The deaths of 26-year-old Keandra Austin and her children, 9-year-old V’Angelo, 6-year-old Keeryn and 6-month-old Aliya, shocked Rockford when firefighters responded to a blaze on Garfield Drive before dawn on Sept. 17, 2016.
