World Wide Technology Raceway, Madison, IL — September 13, 2026
The NASCAR Cup and O’Reilly Auto Parts Series visit World Wide Technology Raceway (WWT) this weekend. The track is located in Madison, Illinois, just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. The weekend events are the second race in The Chase for both series.
WWT Raceway is a 1.25-mile asphalt oval and not generally considered a place where large wrecks occur regularly, except for last night’s Nu Way 225 powered by Bobcat sauced by Blues Hog. The “Big One” occurred on pit road as drivers were entering for service during the Stage One break. WWT features an entry lane, separate from the racing surface, that begins in turn three.
