Three hikers rescued after becoming trapped in steep terrain on Mount Superior

LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah (KUTV) — Three hikers were rescued by a Salt Lake County crew after they went off trail and became trapped in steep terrain.

A search and rescue crew was dispatched Friday night to the area west of Mount Superior’s South Ridge to assist a group of hikers that became “cliffed out,” according to Salt Lake County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue.
