NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — Over the last three days, thousands of people made their way to Nicholasville to experience the city’s first annual Downtown Days festival.
Event Coordinator Kara Hoagland said visitors came from near and far to enjoy a wide variety of activities, from live music to a barbecue contest and a memorial bike ride.

The festival had something for all ages, with dozens of vendors on site offering various food and drink options, along with unique merchandise.
“You want to make sure you have a kids zone and a family zone and food and crafts and vendors and, obviously, a really good music lineup,” Hoagland said. “I think that’s what helps make it. We just love our community so much that we want to pour ourselves into it. And I really feel that through the community groups that are here this weekend.”…
