Fortress Investment Group has taken control of the former Sony Pictures Animation campus in Culver City after foreclosing on the property’s defaulted mortgage.

Drew McKnight and Jack Neumark of Fortress finalized the transaction through a trustee’s sale on Sept. 10 for $71 million, which values the 182,176-square-foot office complex at approximately $390 per square foot…
