The Coastal Conservation Association Florida, or CCA, dropped dozens of globe-shaped concrete structures to the bottom of the Gulf on Aug. 18, creating the newest artificial reefs in Southwest Florida.
Called the CCA Florida Taylor-Martin Reef, the structure is off Gordon’s Pass and should already be drawing some level of marine wildlife.
