MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — This is the final very hot day of the week, but some welcome changes are on the way. A cold front will move through this afternoon, bringing noticeably cooler and drier air. Before then, it’s another warm and muggy start to the day, with very high humidity and temperatures in the upper 70s along the coast and lower 70s inland.
The cold front arrives this afternoon, and behind it, temperatures tonight will fall into the upper 60s to around 70 degrees. Highs tomorrow will be at least 10 degrees cooler, and we’ll finally see a noticeable drop in humidity.
These comfortable conditions will stick around through the middle of the week, with plenty of sunshine and dry weather each day. Humidity begins to creep back up late in the week, and temperatures will trend back above average as we head into next weekend…
