WARWICK, R.I. (WPRI) — While Sunday’s heavy rain had mostly slowed to a drizzle by the middle of the afternoon in Southeastern New England, its remnants are still present on many of the region’s roads.
Berge Zobian, who owns a business on Bellows Street in Warwick, told 12 News that street floods frequently even when there’s not significant rainfall.
“This is six or seven, eight hours of rain,” he pointed out. “If we had two days of 24-hour, or maybe two days of rain, that would have been a very big problem.”…
