The Florida State Seminoles were on a bye week this week, and despite all of the results around the country, they remain far from the AP Top 25 barring a turnaround that starts Saturday at Alabama.
While FSU did not receive any votes in the AP Top 25 after Week 1, four ACC teams are now ranked. The Miami Hurricanes are at No. 5 after beating Florida A&M by 70. The SMU Mustangs are not far behind at No. 16, rising up one spot after beating UC Davis. The Louisville Cardinals have entered at No. 23 and the No. 25 Virginia Cavaliers also found themselves in the poll.
Pittsburgh and Virginia Tech are the only two ACC teams in the “others receiving votes” category with one and 11 votes, respectively…
