Friends remember Springfield bartender for her joy, rally around injured coworker

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) – Friends and coworkers gathered at Mama G’s Kitchen in downtown Springfield to remember Tesia Ta, who died after a car crash on Sept. 2, and to support coworker Kayle Moore, who was seriously injured in the crash.

Police said Moore was turning her SUV into a business on E. Kearney St. when it was hit by a Mercedes. Investigators suspect speeding and impairment by the driver of the Mercedes. The investigation remains open.
