On Aug. 3, the United States Department of Education released a letter that called upon American university presidents and board members to “reaffirm their commitment to serving the American people.” The letter urges institutions to respond to the letter by the end of the year and feature the response on their public-facing websites.
Colorado State University officials have yet to decide whether they will reply to the questions posed in the letter to all higher education institutions by the U.S. Secretary of Education Linda E. McMahon.
