Cooler weather settles into northern Utah as temperatures fall into the 70s Monday

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — A cold front will continue to work its way through the state early Monday into the afternoon. This will usher in much cooler temperatures. Expect a BIG drop in temperatures Monday morning and afternoon.

Salt Lake City will see a 20-degree drop, from Sunday’s record-tying 93 to a nice, pleasant high of 73 degrees. Monday morning will also be 20 degrees cooler than Sunday morning as temperatures drop into the mid-50s.

A few more thunderstorms are possible in eastern Utah Monday into Tuesday. Flash flooding is possible again in those areas as well. The Wasatch Front will stay dry…
