SPOKANE, Wash. – The trial for Wahid Kashify, the man accused of murdering his wife and storing her body in a freezer before fleeing the United States to Europe, has been continued to a later date according to the Spokane County Superior Criminal Court. Kashify’s trial was set to begin Monday, September 14, 2026 after being rescheduled more than half a dozen times.
According to publicly available information through the Spokane County Court Viewer, Kashify’s trial was first scheduled for September 23, 2024 in July of 2024. A new trial date was then set nine different times in the following two years.
