GUILDERLAND — A man who could not escape his second-floor Brandywine apartment because of the flames last Thursday jumped to safety into the arms of Guilderland’s EMS director, Sean McGaughnea.
The 911 call was made by a resident of the apartment at about 8 a.m. on Thursday morning, Sept. 10, according to Westmere Assistant Chief Jason Paiko.
Paiko and McGaughnea, separately, arrived on the scene right away…
