AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Monday, Sept. 14, 2026 is the final day of operation for the South Augusta Family Y on Tobacco Road.
Though its closing, the YMCA says all children already served through its after-school program have been placed at other locations.
“Made a lot of friends and are still making friends as well,” said Connie Wells, a YMCA member. “Thank you all and I’ve enjoyed the staff they been wonderful, wonderful. And I look forward to seeing everybody again.”…
